Dedicated To My Loving Wife

My wife and I enjoying life together

The songs on the web site are a result of my wife’s ministry to people. A lot of the songs are our songs and my songs that remind me of her. Safe In His Arms by Milton Brunson and the Thompson Community Choir was played at her home going service and she played every time you entered her car because she always felt safe in the arms of Jesus(where she is right now). Chris Tomlin was one of her favorite artist because he loves to praise God through his songs and Betty was a praise machine, thus we have How Great Is Our God, Amazing Grace(My Chains Are Gone), and I Will Rise. Jesus Is Love by Lionel Ritchie helped her sing over and over again how she truly believed Jesus is love and how He loved her. Tomorrow by the Winans was a song she liked to hear me sing and I truly cannot sing but she liked to hear me blast that song all out of tune, she was an encourager, maybe she had a hearing problem. That Name by Yolanda Adams, another song she allowed me to sing about our spirit going to heaven. He Has His Hands On You by Marvin Sapp was another song sung at her home going service and performed by the  Mime and Praise Dancers and this same song I laid close to her for the last time with tears flowing freely the day before she died with my hands lifted in high praise to the Lord. Blessings by Laura Story was what the kids called a mama song that helped heal me as I was caring for her and addressing my wife’s every need as she was walking through this season of suffering in her life. Finally, One Thing Remains by Kristian Stanfill has been the song that reminds me that even though she is gone it reminds me that God’s love never fails and He never gives up on me, His love never fails and  never runs out on me.
